WHAT EVEN IS A TUCKTEC FOLDABLE KAYAK?
It's a portable, durable and innovative kayak for all your adventuring desires! It enables people to go out on the waters freely, while saving space at home and during transporting. We use HDPE plastic for the kayak's shell - it's an extremely durable material, so you don't have to fear rocks, logs or brambles.

We are the official franchisee of Tucktec Folding Kayaks. The creators of these kayaks (from the United States) have come out with their innovative 2025 model. This is what you'll see most referenced online. We have created a nearly identical 2025 EU model, we have just kept the old assembly mechanism. We don't plan to manufacture the 2025 model until the summer of 2025.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE KAYAKS SOLD HERE?
SEAT IMPROVEMENTS
The 2025 EU features an amazing improvement for back support and stability - the seat cage! The new system makes your ride more smoother and more relaxing than ever.
SKEG AND ENDINGS
The endings have been fitted with velcro straps, giving the kayak a much nicer finish. We have also replaced the old rope-controlled skeg with an autonomous one, which adjusts to the terrain without any input.
FOOTREST OVERHAUL
In line with other improvements for comfortability, we have also overhauled the footrest! It is now a sturdy and stable bar, which you can adjust in just a few seconds (unlike the old design)!
The 2025 model has all of the features of the 2025 EU model, but most importantly it has a completely different assembly mechanism - instead of being a tension-based lever system, it has been revamped to have a slot-based latching system. Both systems are durable, but the new 2025 model is said to be easier to fold. Initially, because the plastic is new and unused, it will be tougher to fold the kayak together, especially in colder weather. We recommend folding it in sunshine and/or in your house, leaving it fully assembled for a day.
HULL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (HIN)
A Hull Identification Number (HIN) is used to identify your kayak, primarily in our customer service interactions. It consists of a general string and a set of 7 alphanumeric characters separated by a dash: CYYBB-RRRRRRR, where C is the colour code, YY is the year of the batch of plastic, BB is the batch number, and RRRRRRR is the aforementioned set of alphanumeric characters.
You can now customize the ending of your HIN!
We have noticed that people enjoy having a unique product tailored to them, hence we introduced a new feature - the ability to customise the set of alphanumeric characters! It must still adhere to the limitation of 7 symbols and no profanity or hate speech can be used.
