Return policy

Our return policy has been prepared under the guidelines of the EU consumer protection law and the legislation of other countries where Tucktec EU (a branch of the company MB Kayak Vilnius, the seller) conducts operations. Every customer has the right a full refund within 14 days of receipt of the kayak by informing us at info@tucktec.eu. The customer must arrange for the shipment of the kayak. At the request of the customer, in order to provide them with cheaper alternatives, we may arrange the shipping (we reserve the right to not provide any alternatives). In any case, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, either by arranging the shipping themselves or paying us for our offer. The refund is issued after receipt and inspection of the kayak at our facilities. Only a partial refund is issued if the kayak has been returned damaged (cosmetic issues or scratches don’t apply).

After the 14-day period after the date of delivery has expired, we offer a 90-day return window which entitles the returnee for a 75% refund. The refund is issued after receipt and inspection of the kayak at our facilities. A 25% refund is issued if the kayak has been returned damaged (cosmetic issues or scratches don’t apply). In any case, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, either by arranging the shipping themselves or paying us for our offered shipping arrangements.

Furthermore, we cannot issue refunds if the kayak has already been shipped but has not arrived at your shipping address. In any case, we'll have to receive the kayak back in order to proceed with a refund.

Please note that under certain Warranty policy conditions, kayaks can also be returned free of charge with the shipping costs covered. Please refer to the Warranty policy for more details.

Refunds can be issued in accordance with the same payment method which you used while buying the products. Sometimes we may ask to issue the refund to your IBAN. Chargebacks are processed on an individual basis when we receive the necessary information from our payment processors. We must review all refund requests within 7 days of receiving the request. We will issue the refund within 30 calendar days of us accepting the refund request.

Not wanting to pay customs fees does not qualify you for a refund on the shipping and any other fees incurred by us related with the handling of the package.

We reserve the right to deduct shipping, payment processing, refund processing and other handling costs from all refunds. If the customer pays for the order using Revolut, we are required to pay Revolut 1% + 0.20€ for European consumer cards and Revolut Pay, and 2.8% + 0.20€ for all other cards; this is called a payment processing fee. If the refund was issued by transferring money to an IBAN, if the recipient's bank country is in the European Union, the fee for a transfer is 0.20€, if the recipient's country is outside of the EU, the fee for a transfer is 5€; this is called a refund processing fee. If the customer requests, we will provide them with proof of the fees incurred by processing the payment. An additional 5€ handling fee may be applied. The expedited shipping fee is non-refundable, it is treated as a service to assemble your kayak quicker. Shipping cost deductions for free shipping and expedited shipping are made in accordance with the pricing table below (unless we have incurred a larger expense from our logistics partners). Express shipping costs are non-refundable and deductable from the refund (if we have incurred a larger expense from our logistics partners, we reserve the right to deduct this amount). In the case that we do incur a larger shipping cost from our logistics partners, we will provide proof to the customer, in the form of an invoice or other documentation.
