This shipping policy was written to provide the customer with an overview of the shipping procedures of Tucktec EU. As of 2024-08-22, we have introduced free shipping to all of the territories listed in our website. As of 2025-04-11, shipping is now divided into three categories: free shipping, expedited shipping and express shipping. All orders between 2024-08-22 and 2025-04-11 fall under the free shipping category, unless otherwise agreed. From 2025-05-15 we will pay all of the import taxes for non-EU customers.
Our typical kayak assembly time is as fast as possible, i.e. 2-3 working days. For the 2025 model it is usually one week, because we do not have a lot of stock left. Generally, it's best advised to adhere to the table below:

Explanation:
- Kayak preparation time - this is the time our employees take to assemble and prepare the kayak for shipping. If you choose the expedited shipping option, you will be ahead all of the people who chose free shipping. Please bear in mind that we may take longer if we have a lot of orders or if we're understaffed.
- Package transit time - this is the time it takes the cargo company to transport your package to your address. It is always country-specific, as some countries are farther than others, but if you choose the express option, it usually comes overnight or in less than three days. Please note that delivering the package to you is the responsibility of the cargo company, where we have no control. Delays can occur due to weather or logistical issues.
- Cargo company - these are the cargo companies we use based on your chosen shipping option. If there are multiple options, we leave it up to our own discretion with which company we'll send the package. We usually ship with FedEx.
- Pricing - this is the price of each shipping option.
In case there is high volume or logistical issues, your package may be delayed by several days. Our logistics partners ship to most locations within a week, but this may take more time, depending on the weather conditions, road conditions, customs clearance speed and other factors of which we are not in control of.
If the package is lost, we will claim insurance with our logistics partner and will promptly send you a new kayak.
On behalf of customers outside of the European Union we will pay their country‘s respective import VAT and other duties applicable. This is included in the price that a customer pays; this is called DDP (Delivery Duties Paid). This is done with the help of our main carrier - FedEx. Unfortunately, for customers from the Åland Islands, Kosovo and Ukraine we cannot pay import taxes, hence we have reduced the price for these countries and we will assist customers with the bureaucratic procedures. Not wanting to pay customs fees does not qualify you for a refund on the shipping and any other fees incurred by us related with the handling of the package.
