Tucktec 2024, 2025 EU, 2025… What's the difference?
Because of our recent launch of the Tucktec 2025, we want to dispel any confusion and we want to summarize all of the information into one place!
At around July of 2024, our franchisers, Tucktec in the United States of America, released the Tucktec 2025. It had a lot of great improvements, but the most notable one was the new folding / assembly mechanism. Because of this, people say that it is easier to fold.
Unfortuantely, we didn't have enough materials to release this version in Europe. So, we decided to make the 2025 EU version with all of the other improvements, and we were planning to release the 2025 model in Spring of 2025. Well, fortunately, we found a solution to release it early!
So, what are the actual differences?

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE KAYAKS SOLD HERE?
SEAT IMPROVEMENTS
The 2025 EU features an amazing improvement for back support and stability - the seat cage! The new system makes your ride more smoother and more relaxing than ever.
SKEG AND ENDINGS
The endings have been fitted with velcro straps, giving the kayak a much nicer finish. We have also replaced the old rope-controlled skeg with an autonomous one, which adjusts to the terrain without any input.
FOOTREST OVERHAUL
In line with other improvements for comfortability, we have also overhauled the footrest! It is now a sturdy and stable bar, which you can adjust in just a few seconds (unlike the old design)!
The 2025 model has all of the improvements that the 2025 has, and the new assembly mechanism!
