Shipping policy

This shipping policy was written to provide the customer with an overview of the shipping procedures of Tucktec EU. Because we operate in so many territories, we feel that it‘s fair to provide an accurate and almost at-cost price to the chosen destination. This price depends on the customer‘s ZIP code and the terms of our logistics partners.

Shipping methods and prices vary by country and are subject to change. In any case, the shipping company and the price that a user of the e-shop sees will stay the same at checkout. One kayak = one box = one shipment, so if you order multiple kayaks, they will be split into multiple shipments and charged accordingly.

Our typical shipment processing time is as fast as possible, i.e. 1-2 working days. In case there is high volume or logistical issues, this may be delayed by several days. Our logistics partners ship to most locations within a week, but this may take more time, depending on the weather conditions, road conditions, customs clearance speed and other factors of which we are not in control of.

If the package is lost, we will claim insurance with our logistics partner and will promptly send you a new kayak.

Customers outside of the European Union will have to pay their country‘s respective import VAT and other duties applicable. They will have to handle the customs procedures themselves (with assistance from us if needed). This is called DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid). Not wanting to pay customs fees does not qualify you for a refund on the shipping and any other fees incurred by us related with the handling of the package.
